Native to the Pacific Northwest and relocated near the Black Mountains of Arizona, nature has always had a huge influence on my daily life and my art. From my first pinch pot in 1980, with colors representing earth and water, to recent sketches of old gold mines in mineral rich Arizona, nature always is prevalent in my work. If my hands aren't dirty with clay or other minerals from the earth, my soul is not complete at that moment. Hence Mud Doll Studios, a place where I can let go, get my hands dirty and just express myself in anyway that moves my soul.
